HAU Hay Box automated

The HAU Hay Box automated is a further development of the HAU Hay Box or HAU Hay Box mobile, which was already awarded the Equitana Innovation Prize in 2017.

The HAU Hay Box is a roughage rack that is placed in a corner of the stable. It consists of a footing frame filled with Douglas fir wood and a fodder net, which sinks as the fodder level decreases. For more comfortable filling, there is the HAU Hay Box mobile: A trolley is protected by the kick protection frame in the stable and is equipped with a fodder saving net like the HAU Hay Box. For filling, it is pulled onto the aisle.

The further development now consists of an electrically operated locking lid that regulates the timing of all-day access to the hay supply.
